View Full Version : Bekkers spring seats?

Let me start off by saying that I understand that a front rake is not needed for an e36 to handle well.... BUT I have been tweaking my suspension for this seasons upcoming autoX and after installing swapped 96+ strut mounts my suspension is sitting a bit higher in the front than I would like. I had this problem with my KMAC camber plates as well. :( My current set up is the oh so common Bilstein sport and H&R sport combo. The front Bilsteins are brand new (warranty).

Are the Bekkers spring seats a viable option? Will they kill the travel of the Bilstein sports? :confused Here is the link to the product that I am speaking of:

Here is a picture of my car with the Kosei K1s that I just got. The front gap looks aweful. :(

I can not switch to coilovers this year as they would bump me into a higher class in autocross (BMWCCA).

Any input / help would be greatly appreciated.

this doesn't answer your question directly but in a way it does...

are you sure you can even get a set of those anymore? the last couple of threads about them in E36 said that bekkars was sold-out or on backorder even though the website says in stock.

this is just what i observed here.
