Heres some pics of my rlp installed. How do you like the duct tape? Works great as a sealant.

OVerall, I am very pleased with this sub. The Sq is awesome so far, but my front stage really cant even try to keep up when the subs wangin. I plaid hotel california on it a little while ago and it was tight and crisp. No distortion whatsoever at very high volume. However, I had to open the trunk and listen to it from there to know this because my car rattles so much when its playing that loud that you cant tell if it is completely distortion free from the front seat. Very different sound than that of my old diamond m6mkII 10's in a sealed box. Just as "quick" so to speak, but just different. Its a little more "full" if you know what I mean, a little deeper and stronger so to speak. So it has sq, but does it have spl?
ABSOLUTELY. This thing is LOUD. It shocked the hell outta me and all of my friends. I was expecting a small step up in output from my diamonds considering the cone area was a little less and I was going to send it 500w less, but there is no question that this is way louder. I drove up to wienerschnitzel today with my music up very loud playing 50 cent candy shop. I parked about 40 ft away and when i wnet inside one of my firiends just had this look of awe on his face. It soon passed and he told me that the whole restaurant was shaking from my bass. lol. Don't bother lecturing me on how terrible this is because I really never do this kind of thing. I know that noone wants to hear me, but what the hell its new and I want to show it off.
Overall, this is just an awesome sub that can get loud and sound good doing it. If you are looking into getting any subs I would definitely recommend soundsplinter. I can attest to the quality of the rl-p and have heard nothing but good things about the rl-i.

Yup. Its a 15 and it is f*kin HUGE. This is my first 15 and I never realized how big they are. Its much larger than it looks in any photos.
I just bought 2 yards of carpet through themuchacho and I am hoping to carpet the box this weekend. I also am about to purchase 1 or 2 gallons of secondskin spectrum through this group buy http://forums.caraudio.com/vb/showthread.php?t=91756 (huge discounts on an awesome product).
I started listening to some rock on this sub now that I am near deaf from the rap and this sub really does have some very nice sq. I was expecting it to not have much of a presence above 50hz due to it being a 15 and my box being tuned so low, but with my lpf set at 80 hz or so there is no difference between the ability of the rl-p to play the upper frequencies and my previous set up of 2 sealed diamond 10's. The bass is not at all muddy as I assumed it would be somewhat. Crisp and tight is the best way to describe for rock and loud and full would be a good way to describe how it plays rap. I am still loving this thing!

I was at the gym yesterday getting ready for a 2 mile run. The gym was packed. Every treadmill was taken up and I waited patiently for one to open up. This old bastard finally gets off the treadmill. Little did I know, old dude jumped off the treadmill while it was still running. I sensed it but my vision is pretty F'ed up. So I didn't see the treadmill floor still spinning. So, I put my foot on it and my foot immediately slips off, I fall on my face on the treadmill mat and I'm being pushed off by the spinning mat. Oh and all of this while in front of what? 30 people surrounding me. Blah.

It took my one day to receive it. :) I do live pretty close though. I have no idea what shipping is like to canada. Mike is pretty good about shipping stuff out immediately so I guess it would really just depend how long it takes to get from La Canada, CA to whereever you are in canada. In case you were wondering, mike ussually ships fedex.
you can tell him eric77 or e_eadington @ yahoo.com sent you.
BTW, I have heard only good things about the rl-i. theres a couple vids of it floating around and that thing really moves and gets low not to mention the sq is supposed to be awesome.

I wondered where that post went. It was supposed to go to OT. Nonetheless, true story.
