Glad to hear it. GingerMan is a lot of fun and really is a safe track.
Regarding tech inspections. We will provide tech inspections at the track, but encourage participants to take their car to one of our tech centers. If you have a knowledgeable shop that you trust and work with, they can also tech inspect the car. When we inspect the cars at the track, we will let you know what is wrong, but it is your responsibility to fix the problem.
You can download a copy of our tech form here -> http://www.speedtrialusa.com/index1.html
Please let me know if you have any other questions,
Brian.
Will ZCPM3 03-22-2005, 07:24 PM thanks
speedtrialbrian 03-28-2005, 01:19 PM With just under two weeks before our GingerMan event, it is time to make sure your car is ready. Please take advantage by having your car checked over before the event. Though we will continue to provide tech inspections at the track, pre-tech'ing your car will ensure you the most track time and also allows time just in case something is wrong. essejM3 03-28-2005, 01:40 PM Any plans on bringing these events to the East Coast?
speedtrialbrian 03-28-2005, 11:12 PM Any plans on bringing these events to the East Coast?
We would like to expand eastward, but the timeframe is up in the air. I have some friends out there that are feeding me a lot of information about various tracks that look very appealing!

Grantbo 03-29-2005, 12:31 PM Brian - Are you still accepting applications? I've done a few auto-x's and would like to try my hand at the track. Any additonal info you can provide would be great. Any lodging nearby?
dorikin_86 03-29-2005, 04:30 PM Brian - This is geared towards your West coast operations...but...you guys are taking too many people per run group man...I used to go to speedtrial a lot because tommy and the guys are pretty kool but the amount of people on the track really makes it not very enjoyable anymore....
thought i'd let you know here =)
badmonkey 03-29-2005, 09:27 PM I attended a SpeedtrialUSA event several years back... focking dangerous. No regard for
saftey AT ALL. Complete nOObs in way over their heads with no instruction. In fact, one
of those noobs smashed his M3 making a mistake proper instruction could have prevented.

speedtrialbrian 03-31-2005, 12:54 AM dorikin 86 and badmonkey,
Thank you for the feedback. Tommy and I have gone through some growing pains and have been learning to balance the value of a track day versus the amount of entries. Your experience is always the first concern and we are sorry to hear that you had less-than-desireable experiences in the past. We are confident that we have resolved such issues by adjusting the cost of our events, which are still a bargain, and limiting the number of cars in each run group.
If you have more feedback, or would like to give our events another try, please contact Tommy at: tommy@speedtrialusa.com
Brian.
