View Full Version : Dedicated to the rain. cosmom3 03-21-2005, 11:49 PM I hate the rain ....so much. Spun out and a truck hit me. good thing it was in my 85 bmw with 433,000 miles. Still uhhg. Any1 have any nice accidents to report? F- the rain. I hope none of the upcoming meets get canceled!!!!! :evil2 SC David 03-22-2005, 12:13 AM That's no good. At least the fact that you are here to post is a good sign. I saw two accidents within a 3 mile stretch of highway as I was going to a friends house. One was next to an onramp where I have accidentally pulled a few drifts during the rain. The person had obviously spun while getting on the freeway and gone off the side of the road. Not good, and the weather looks like it's getting worse. I know someone said they've been drifting accidentally but i think the rain is the perfect time to drift a corner or an on ramp. I don't have so much of a ramp but definetely an entrance with a nice tight right turn for me to take into it, over the train tracks (where i lose traction) whip out the ass end, bring it back and get movin to freeway speeds. I am actually looking forward to it later. nothing crazy, but i love the feeling of a controlled slide and recovery. Cheers, and i am sorry you got into an accident. Good thing it was the clunker. I corrected counter. Car gets random grip. Car ends up on the other side of the center divide facing opposite direction. $450 later, new lower control arm and a cracked rim.
