i need pics of the non ac console. i pulled my ac and the console was clompletly thrashed anyhow so i ripped it all out. i want to install a new non ac one but im not sure what it looks like. i know its smaller than one of the aftermarket ac consoles that were equiped by the dealers. any pics would be helpful. -Matt

They are very similar to the A/C console but go straight down rather than the radio bump out. They usually fetch big $$ used even in not to good of shape so make your own, it's not that hard.

I bought mine for $100 on ebay. You will be waiting for a while for the next one to pop up. Ignore the crappy looking amp gain nob, it will get mounted behind the factory fader nob to look OEM.http://forums.***************************************?attachmentid=99517 http://e21.tricord.be/members/jrcook320/Dash.jpg

The Euro and the GBP are valued higher than the USD. Actually, GBP is also higher than the Euro and the USD.

Don't forget, the postage/shipping cost too.

You might be better off making it yourself and having it wrapped in leather or vinyl. U could use medium density fibreboard.

Plus that particular ad says cash only. So i think you are out of luck there.

I got mine on ebay.ca for $40 + shipping. Its a great consol, its not thrashed or anything. But the hardest part for me was ripping that damn AC out... Its worth it... especially if your CD player skips.. Mine doesn't anymore.

The only think I notice about the A/C gone on the inside, its its louder. I can hear the engine clicking and stuff more.

i have a non-ac console here in az i'd sell yo you matt. PM me.

Josh: that's a great idea about mounting the sub control where the stock fader is. I think i might give that a whirl. The more control up front the better!

Here's my current console setup:
Pioneer deck, and a 10 band Alpine graphic EQ, with sub control, crossover, and level control.

No one mentioned it, but that console on Ebay UK is also for a right hand drive car! If anyone forgets about that, and buys it anyway, here's my offer. After you get it home and realise it won't work, I will buy it as a spare for 20 cents on the dollar! :stickoutt
