i'm moving from the balt/dc area up to ny, specifically astoria (in queens) in a few weeks. I want to take my my m3 up there for the summer but I think i'd need a garage for it, i wouldn't feel comfortable leaving it on the streets. Anyone know of somewhere i could rent a garage for 4 months or so or where i could find one? TIA, i'll be moving up apr 4th :)

Do not park on the street the car will get destroyed. Just drive around the hood and find a nice garage. Pocono and Lime rock are just under 3hrs away with Pocono being alittle closer I think. English Town is probably just under 2hrs from Queens.

Oh expect to pay about $200/month.

it's all ellines in Astoria. Great place to be. As for parking on the street, doubt you will have it stolen, but you never know. Good luck. Yasas

Astoria isn't a bad neighborhood at all. It's probably one of the nicer Queens neighborhoods. It is however, a big city, so you can't say for sure nothing will happen.

i'll be living off ditmars on hazen street. The house i'll be living at has a garage but my roomate will most likely be using it for his 300zx. the neighborhood in which i'll be staying seems to have a good amount of street parking.

i'll most likely be working at a bank until summer, then i will be applying for a "career" job in my field (economics).

I found some garages on craigslist, hopefully i'll be able to find one near the house. I'll be taking up my altima next week so i'll use the next couple of weeks to try and find someone to let me rent their garage for the summer.

that area isnt to bad actually, now were i was chillin last night by flatbush ave. i wouldnt park a hyundai over there :D
