Hi all! Can someone shed some light onto the difference between Griot's Garage's Porter Cable #10625 vs. a "regular" PC 7424/7336? I can get the latter at http://www.coastaltool.com for $120 versus $180 for Griot's!!! So, I'm "almost" thinking that there's something better with Griot's. Can someone elaborate?
Thanks,
Armand

Yep, looks the same down to the backing pad.
I got mine from Coastal, but you might try Lowe's. They had a good deal on them earlier.

Yup, same machine. If you wanna save even more, try finding the 7336 model at your local lowes. They have it on sale sometimes for $99.99
New Home Owner's 10% Discount + 7336sp @ Your local Lowe's = approx $100 after gas and all.

Armand,
There's no difference.
As stated by other forum members, Griot's machine can be replaced with a 7424, 7335, or 7336 (or even the 97355 or 97366) -- depending on what other uses/projects you might have for the tool. Futhermore, you can always get the different backing and polishing pads if they aren't included when you purchase your 5 inch or 6 inch version of the tool.
