Hey Anthony... seems that a new rule here is that you need to have 10 messages to send/receive PMs. Once you get 10 the feature will be enabled. It'll take a little time to become activated once you get the 10 posts, but that is the trigger.

It was great to meet all of you, I had a blast. Thanks to Curt for putting this together, and to everyone responsible for taking, organizing, hosting etc.. the awesome pics. Good thing for me they were taken at night or else my ride would have looked, at least cosmetically, down right neglected next to all those shinny e36s :( . Maybe too shinny, so we need to get at least some cone marks on them rides before the next meet.

Even if you don’t want to run your car, at least come check one out. My passenger seat is always open to catch a ride, and that is usually enough to get even ultra shinny Bimmer owners (cough...Curt....cough) to change their minds on running their cars ;) . Come to think of it, my little auto-x/track habit, specifically with the M3, started innocently enough after 1 ride with our local super star Chris Gant. I had recently got my first M3 but was co-driving my friend’s miata. I cringed at the thought of even a ding on that pristine M3, and had absolutely no intention of ever racing it. Next thing I know its 3 years, 2 perfectly good LN M3s, a year of my life searching eBay, 90k miles, and 84 tires later here I am :eek: . I Would do it all over again too, oh wait I am.

well for you guys that were at the meet to just let ya know - the doc finally called and she said I have Helicobactor Pylori - AKA a bacteral infection that eats at your stomach lineing, letting the acid eat at the soft parts of my tummy - they put me on lotta lotta meds (that are costing me a fortune even with insurence) and said I should be back to perfect in about 2 months...

Sorry for the mad late post, I guess standing outside in the cold wasn't the best thing for my flu like symptoms.. HA! But hell it was worth it! Thanks to all the came out and those that stoped by for a visit. I can see the next meet having a huge turnout! I'm glad everyone enjoyed the karts, it was a nice way to get the evening going, next time we will do the track in the reverse direction, its a whole new ball game then.....

The pics look awsome! After the first meet and the less than impressive pics that I took, I knew better than to even bring my camera this weekend and put full faith in Jed to give us some great digital shots. And yes, special thanks to little Teg for the kart pics as well!

I'll give Alf a call and tell him thanks as well for showing fellow BMW enthusiasts a great time at his track. Should be interesting to see those BMW sprint cars on the oval sometime soon.

Jed's camera clipped the back off of his car and off of Curt's car. He couldn't get far enough back standing on the podium to get it all in...

ya....the being outside didnt help my flu symptoms either...although i am gettin over it....YIPPEE!!.....ima try to bring a friend or two with me next tulsa meet.....then we can have a whole load on the track...that would be awesome!!!
