I was headed home from my friends house today on the freeway when I hear this loud bang.. I pull over to see what it was and this is what I find. :mad

My side skirt was hanging from 2 clips. :mad

Just my luck,,.tommorow is the SFV meet too... im going to try to patch it up to make it but who knows.. does anyone know if a shop can fix this or will i need a whole new sideskirt?

Ah that sucks, I've had mine loose a few clips for no reason twice before, sucks when it happens but atleast its an easy fix.

you might need some new clips but it should go back on :)

Yah , I just got done putting it back on. I used a crap load of double sided tape, and added some silicone to the left over clips.. shes good for now. I still have a fat ass crack though. :(

if its just a small crack u might just think of using bondo to patch it up and paint it, it will be cheaper than buying a new skirt

Yeah made the worst mistake in my life and let a chick drive my car when we went out and partied. I had drank a bit and didn't want to chance a DUI. It was about 2am on the 101 when I hear that thump. :eyecrazy I didn't think much about it. Got to her house took a look and didn't spot anything. When I wake up I go take another look and :eek: :eek: :eek: My front bumper was broken, a whole foglight and assembly was missing, my underpanel was gone, a brake duct was missing, one of those porkchops was gone and my wheel well was broken. You can just imagine what it cost to replace everything, that's how I ended up with my Mtech bumper. I had to pay for a whole new front end and paint. :( :(

Good idea... It doesnt look that bad now that I patched it up somewhat, I'm just going to let the shop deal with it once i take it in for a makeover. :)
