Anyone else planning on going to the Ring tomorrow (20.03.05)?

A little late but I might be going on Friday. It looks like a few of the guys from m3forum are going.

I'll be up there again this weekend :)

Man, I saw you there twice... Once you were pulling out of the parking across from Pflanzgarten... And then Steve and I were behind you and an Audi as we were leaving for the day (when it started raining like crazy). That was us doing all the crazy ish, flashing lights, swerving, etc. Steve was in the Mini... We'll have to try to hook up again sometime... :buttrock

Dang, I'll have to keep a better eye out next time. I just met the dude in the silver S4 at the powerzone the other day. He's pretty cool, his car kicks a$$. What did ya think of that rain? Crazy, huh?

Maniak and I'll be up there today in my car, blue WRX. Weather should be awesome. Planning on checking out the museum also.

Maniak and I, plus a couple other friends, headed to the Ring tomorrow, Sunday 17 April if the weather holds. Schedule says it'll be "closed" from 1500-1700, which means somebody has it reserved and wants to turn some laps. Wonder what that might be????

According to the website there is Touristenfahrten Saturday from 17:15 - 19:30. I'm sure they're more concerned about getting everything ready for the 24 hr race the following weekend.

oh cool thanks. well will probly be there then but were is a good place to go because my first time i was last weekend and i just kinda drove and found a spot allite dirt parking lot with grass. and it was were they come over the road that i drove under and drive by and then turn right. probly have no idea what i am talking about. but looking for a good place to go thanks.

Actually, it sounds like you were by the old pits. Did you drive through Nürburg go under a bridge and then pull into the right side? GP circuit would have been behind you? If so that spot is OK, but there a lot of places with a lot more to see. Brünnchen is one of the more popular and you can walk from there all the way to the Karussell. Your best bet is to buy one of the blue maps with yellow text (B&B Map) of the "Nürburgring Nordschleife" 1:11 500. They're perfect for finding your way around the track.
