Probably a newb question, but when do new models come out in the US? AKA the reved up HP engines on the 530 for the 2006 models.... :redspot

This was exactly my question. BMWUSA has the 2006 models on it, but my dealer only has the 2005 models. I was hoping to shortcut walking into the dealer by asking you guys.

Normally the new model year is about October. Manufacturers will mention the new model year on their sites, or at the dealers, but they are not available even to order until they "Release" the new model year. Which is normally about Octoberish time.

If you try to build a 5er on www.bmwusa.com , your only option is the 2005 model year.

Perfect answer, thanks. I was confused when I saw the 2006 pictures on the BMW site, but now that confusion is all cleared up. BMW works just like any other manufacturer.

I ordered a new 530 and it will be the new engine 2006 model. That is all they are currently making. BMWUSA shows delivery on or about 4/12 at my dealer. :redspot
