Not sure if this is the right forum...

I want to install new Mtechnic side moldings on my 97 M3 2 door. I have a list of all the plugs and clamps I need. However, I do not know how many of each I need or where they go. If anyone knows, please help me...driving around with no moldings is pretty ugly!

Thanks

#5 clamp 51132251394
#6 fuse 51132251639
#7 clamp 51138144998
#11 grommet 51131960127
#12 plug 51711929320

The way to find out how many you need is to count the number of holes in the sheet metal of the car. The plastic clips will slide on a rail on the inside of the molding and then snap into place in each of those holes in the metal of the car.

A rough estimate is about 15 on each side of the car.

I did count the holes. There are 16 small holes and 2 large holes. When I looked in the ETK, it did not specify which part goes where. I don't know where #5/#7 clamps I need or go, what the "fuse" is for or where and how many grommets I need?

Who are you buying the parts from? You could tell them that you need clips for the moldings. They'll know.
