Hello,

I have a scratch in my windshield and am wondering if there is a product I can use to polish it out or fill it somehow.

Last winter I was scraping some ice off my windshield with a scraper that had a metal edge on it. Turns out one of the corners on the scraper was bent, and that corner dug into the glass and left a scratch. It's passed inspection since then, but it bugs the hell out of me.

The car is an E30 if that makes any difference...

Not really, you could polish it, but then you've got an optical wave in the windshield. Half a dozen of one six of the other. AFAIK, the fills don't work on scratches, only craters.

I just did the same thing! Sux its right in front of me too! From what I've been told and what I read is you cant get it out. have to buy a new window. Looks like im staring at a scratch for a while

Mine is right in my field-of-vision also. Well, I guess I'll be living with it for a while anyway.
