View Full Version : Pics of my e34 after a small accident..
Andryuha 03-17-2005, 02:17 PM I already described the whole accident in OT along time ago, but now I finally took some pics. My car is going to the body shop on monday to fix this damage, as well as rust, dings, scratches, and full respray. Here's what it looks like today....

Andryuha 03-17-2005, 03:24 PM I'll be paying $1600 for everything (excluding parts). Since they paid $2000 for the accident damage, I'll actually spend $0 out of my own pocket, plus they will provide a rental car while the car is in the shop. This accident has actually benefited me. I've already recieved the clear corners, and I'll be ordering ellipsoids any day now. I will also ask them to color match the rest of the bumper under the trim.
I wanted to paint the car black, but that would be too expensive for me - around $5000 to be exact. The car will be painted custom green, since that will eliminate the need to paint the engine bay, and insides of the doors, trunk and hood. The new green will be darker/deeper then the current one.
SC David 03-17-2005, 04:25 PM Sounds like you made it out of this one pretty good. Hope it all goes well!
Andryuha 03-17-2005, 04:53 PM yeah, I just need to get the parts now. I've looked for a wide-grill parts the whole time after the accidens, but found nothing. So now, I will settle for a regular pass side grill. Also, what do you think about these headlights?

Gamite 03-17-2005, 05:22 PM ouch.. Euro headlights would be a nice upgrade!!
SC David 03-17-2005, 05:38 PM Whoaaaa, that is a really cheap price. Mine are Depos, and they are decent quality. There was a minor leakage issue, but it was easy to seal them up and now they work great. I would go for it. They're so inexpensive that you really don't have much to lose.

depo ellipsoids look to be at an all time low on ebay.
Gamite 03-17-2005, 09:54 PM I wonder when he'll start doing smoked depo's.
Are the Depo Ellipsoids decent quality??? Sorry for the hijack!
