I need some help! If I drive for awhile and turn the car off, and try to start it back up again.....nothing. No click, nothing. After about a hour or so it will start right up!???! What the hell! Is there a thermal switch somewhere? Thanx for the help.

Starters generally won't crank when they get too hot. It sounds like that's what's going on. Is there a heat shield missing or something?
