Problem started today (car was fine on the way to work). Car is having problems starting (I have to mash the gas a few times before cranking, never had to do this before always started first crank). Also is hesitant to get under power, I feel decreased power and rough accel until it gets revved. Wants to stall right after starting unless I rev it for a few secs, then it idles ok. Check Engine Light came on too. I'm 1200 miles to my I2. No crazy driving in a while, trip to work was fine this AM. This started at lunch..

I'm hoping it's something related to the I2, maybe just an air filter that needs to be cleaned, etc..

Ideas/suggestions?

Being the BMW repair rookie I am, guess I freaked out.

Took it to autozone, got the code read - Camshaft sensor is out. Luckily under warranty, so I'm good there.

With that said, what else should I check now that I know what failed? Plug/coil? Os is that a known deal (sensors blowing).
