Hi, i got an 93 325is coupe. it's been parked 4 years now due to crack head cylinder. i already rebuilt the head and put it back and change oil. i tried to start it today but it won't start. it cranks though. i don't think i missed any installation procedure and timing. pls help. thanks in advance.

What did you do with the gas? After 4 years w/o any stabilizers, it's going to be pretty crappy. IF it cranks, then you're looking at spark, air or fuel. Do you have spark? Might not be a bad idea to do a compression test to make sure you don't have any valve/head issues.

Try putting some fresh gas in the TB when cranking.
If it starts, replace gas in tank.
Takes two people unless you have remote start.

Just a few cc's, don't use a firehose.

well, thanks for replies. i found out that there's no fuel going to the engine. took out the rear seat, took out the fuel supply hose and see if there's fuel coming out when i turn the ignition on. it supposed to squirt but its none. i am suspecting maybe the fuel pump gone bad since i have still half full of gas. i will change the gas as soon as there is fuel running to the line. thanks for your help.

Probably just cleaning your fuel pump. Gas can co-aggulate and become jelly like after that long. Obviously not the whole tank, but whatever little bit was in the fuel pump could have.

thanks for the suggestion. i'll try to clean it out first before i spend 200 bucks for the pump. if not.. oh well..

just an update guys...

i finally change the fuel pump and car started. :)

i am so happy and of course, i would to thank all of you for your help. i really appreciate it.

one thing more, i still encounter some minor problems like clogged radiator and dead battery. this is simple to be fixed.

more power to you guys. :buttrock :D
