Proper Installation is the key for both to seal well. BP mrdoenutz 03-15-2005, 08:13 PM Both the gaskets BMW and VAC sells are very good gaskets. Proper Installation is the key for both to seal well. BP bad bimer is correct. with the mls gaskets you must have the head surface machined very smooth to ensure proper sealing. A lot of guys recommend applying a copper spray to the gasket to make sure it seals good. guc32 03-15-2005, 09:05 PM Vic of Siastuning installed a VAC MLS headgasket on my car about 1000 miles ago and i have no problems with any leaks.
