Does Anybody Have Any Idea Why The Steering On My 98 528i Seems To Get Tight After Being Driven For About 10-15 Mins . When I Start
The Car In The Morning The Steering Is Nice And Smooth But After The Car Warms Up It Stiffens Up A Lot. Could It Be The Rack Or The Pump? I Flushed The System And Replaced Fluid With Mobil Synth
And The Problem's Still There. I Also Checked The Rack And There Doesn't Seem To Be Any Leaks At The Boots. Has Any Body Ever Come Across This Problem? Any Info Would Be Appreciated.

A worn pump might do this and a pressure check of the PS system would tell if that's the case.
