My left front fog light has a broken mounting tab. I am hoping to be able to avoid buying a while new assembly for $200. Does anyone have a used assembly that they are willing to sell for a reasonable price? I do not care about the condition of the glass, it can be broken or pitted. I will be able to reuse my lens.

Hey Dave, I am awaiting an estimate from the insurance company to replace my front bumper and RIGHT fog light assembly. Left is fine. I am thinking about replacing with Justin's (Shadowchaser) VM7 front, which will require going to M5 fog assemblies. Once finalized, I can get rid of my OEM fog assemblies. The right one fell out got dragged a few feet, but the left one is perfect.
If you are not in a huge hurry - it's yours.

Too bad Dave, I have a passenger side one. Why I keep it I don't know.
Anyway if you need a foglight, where are you getting the $200 figure from?? Mine was purchased for ~$85 and it is a Hella. The clip which holds it in is a $6 item which I had to replace also.

Hmm, no pictures on the site. Do you have a pic of yours?

I had to replace my passenger side fogs, they were heavily pitted and hazy. I understand your apprehension but I assure you, they were genuine bmw hella oem E38 fogs, full assembly and complete. Sorry, no pics. :(

I concurr, I bought one from them a few years back. Came in a Hella box and matched identically with the factory one. They have good prices on the pads and rotors too.
