Hi I live in fargo Nd and there is no one who wants to look at my 1989 750il Ive had it at one palce in the Minneapolis but they didnt fix it.
The problmes Im having is after it sits for while 2 weeks or less I go out to start it and its starts to miss and backfire, I can clear it out after driving it and the backfire goes away and then drives fine if I kept driving it? It has 82k miles on it. also sometimes i hear a clickng noise when turning left when its in the summer. I havent changed out sparkplugs or anyithing and the dealeer in the Minneapolis changed out o2 sensor. Also another problem is my airconditioning doesnt work it blows hot air nt he summer the dealer also said my ac unit is out is that common. I have had alot of bmws but this one is really frustrrating if any of you have exp this kind of problems please email me back thanks sean

I used to live in Fargo. My only suggestion to use Orr Autosport in St. Louis Park for your work. They seem to understand my 90 750iL, at least they are in sympathy.

Your rough running issues sound like battery problems or charging circuit. Have you checked your OBC function 9 for charging voltage?

I live in MSP now and would be happy to help if practical. Let me know what you need.
