Any particular problems with these cars? What should I look out for? I'm looking for a black/black with SMG.

Thanks!

Too bad you're not looking for a Silver/black with SMG...

In my attempt at a shameless prop, I forgot to answer your question. No major problems in the 2.5 years I've had the car. I had a coil pack go bad a couple months ago, so they replaced all six under warranty. I had the bearing service done, which was a recall affecting all M3 owners. Miscellaneous stuff like the titan shadow finish on the interior trim would bubble up, so I had that replaced a few times. There is a rubber/felt molding that goes all the way around the door opening on both sides of the car, and that would fall out because the adhesive couldn't stand Florida heat I guess. It hasn't happened in months so I guess they figured it out.

The car is fast and getting faster all the time... :devillook

I have a 2002 M3 Jet black/black six speed. The car has had the recall for bearings (twice in fact resulting in three break-in periods) and the sound system wouldn't hold bass (now corrected). I've noticed that the Jet Black paint seems soft and that there are in inordinate number of minor rock chips on the front of the car and the hood. That said, the car has been great and I've been very happy with the performance.

Haha, I'm not dead set on the colors. How much are you asking?
