ok, i just recieved my bmw changer. how do i hook it up in the trunk. there's a spot that says prewired for cd changer, but when i took the carpet back i don't see any connectors or wires. also, from the changer there's a black and yellow wire also, what does that hook up with? i have a 95 325i. called the dealer and they said that it should be changer compatible. any help would be great....

well if its compatible and you have all the shit, you should start looking for the wiring. adaptors, and connectors. drop down to the stealer to get some if you cant find em

if it works, then just pull back carpet on the right side of hte trunk, get out the cable that says changer on it, and plug it in. Thats about it. I think the power cable is by the fuel filler chord and the control chord is behind the taillight cover.

Hey Kal, there should be a cable back in that area that will plug into the changer. I left the adapter on the power side in case you couldnt find anything. There should be a plug for that as well, but if not, you can just wire it up to a constant power source and a ground.

here's where i found the wires in my trunk.the circled is where i found the power lead(rectangular white plug),and the arrow shows where i found the black round plug.both were behind all the panels.i know the cd changer isn't supposed to go where i mounted it,but whatever,it works for now.
