The local chapter, Tarheel, of the BMW CCA is holding an event there that includes a meal, T-shirt, and admission to the race. I think the last day to register for that is today though. Information on it can be found here:

What year is your 325? I would like to build a race car but having a hard time which vehicle I would like to start off. 2002, 325, or M3.

A 2002 is all mechanical, easy to tune, alot less electronics, cheap parts, and handles great.

E36 325 is a lot cheaper than a M3, but more money on parts, electronics equipment prices, etc.

I would also like to know what mods you have made to your 325 and what class you run in.

Hey Jon. I saw your post, I'll respond as soon as I have time. Time is kinda short this week getting ready for two race weekends.

Bob///M3 - Are you going to make it up to VIR to spectate the club race this weekend with the rest of the Tarheel folks? There is supposed to be a big crowd. Lee Davis over at Flow BMW has nearly 100 people lined up to come up.
