View Full Version : Who drives their Z8 in a snow storm!!??
Z-Thrizzle 03-09-2005, 01:43 PM On my way to work this morning after a snow storm, I found a Z8 on the side of the road. Driving through the storm last night I also saw a Prowler on the highway. It didn't look like the Prowler was having any trouble...maybe snow tires?? :dunno But I saw a bunch of mustangs on the side of the road.

rayray 03-09-2005, 01:49 PM i saw 3 m3's, an e34 and a 745 laid out on the side going home west on the northern state.... took me 1 hour for a normal 10 min trip... stupid snow..thank god for the girlfriends civic
Z-Thrizzle 03-09-2005, 01:52 PM It took me 3 F'ing hours to get home from a normal 40 min commute. It sucks working 1st & 2nd gear for 3 hrs.
TheAlexStop 03-09-2005, 01:57 PM Winter is almost over and i have yet to get stuck or spin out :alright (as i knock on my desk). snow tires = :)

Same here...my snow tires worked great yesterday with all that snow and ice. During winter...I don't leave home home without-em ;)
AckThud 03-09-2005, 03:32 PM The driver was probably out and about and didn't realize it was going to snow.
StouffvilleZ3 03-09-2005, 03:51 PM Z3's are useless in the winter without snows.
Thankfully I put my baby away for a nap for the winter now. No more foul weather- that's the POS Civic's trick!
(P.S.- Anybody want a geat 2002 Civic? I'm really tired of it.)
The driver was probably out and about and didn't realize it was going to snow.
Or on crack
MMallory 03-09-2005, 03:54 PM Anyone who can afford a Z8 can afford a second car to drive in the snow. This person should have his/her BMW privileges revoked for at least a year.

The weather has been pretty crazy this winter. The day before the storm it was like over 60 degrees. It was actually the first day I put the top down this year:

ugaroadster 03-09-2005, 08:05 PM Maybe he's so loaded the Z8 is his winter beater?
rayray 03-09-2005, 08:19 PM you shouldve taken his wheels and sold them on gaybay. the z8 grilles would make for good paper weights :stickoutt

QikSilver 03-09-2005, 10:02 PM That's got to be the most expensive car ever just sitting out on the road with nobody around it.
CDCJON551 03-09-2005, 11:08 PM i wish i was that loaded to just leave my z8 on the side of the road and say phuck it
dannyh 03-10-2005, 08:42 AM But I saw a bunch of mustangs on the side of the road.
you're surprised to see mustangs on the side of the road... come on, its a ford. Snow storm or not. ;)
PointMEby 03-10-2005, 12:14 PM thats why u get a BMW M for the summer and an Audi S for the winter. Hands down the most capable amazing sports car in any weather, especially snow.
MPD47 03-10-2005, 11:41 PM There is a dude here in Rochester who drives his z06 year round, even has a tow hitch for his snow mobiles. There's a guy in Buffalo who drives his z8 year round too.
So I guess drug sales in western NY are up this year....

SpecRaceM5 04-11-2005, 02:38 AM I love how a majority of the people posting in this thread have z3's or m coupes/roadsters. And there are no posts from z8 owners. I dunno why. just seemed kinda funny to me.

Not a true statement. In fact, it's almost never true.
I've got a 750iL, Ducati 996, and a couple beaters to boot. Bums in Seattle see me roll up in my 750 and are always asking if I can spare change with very sarcastic overtones. But in reality, I"m broke! I live on Mac and cheese which I eat with the same spoon and the same bowl every night because that's all I have. I'm not rich, nor do I pretend to be. I just happen to be a car freak and love spending my time and money on vehicles :)
I bet 95% of the luxury/exotic vehicles you see on the road are owned by a bank :rolleyes
