interesting way of spelling familiar.

Yes, the 328 does have potential, they are actually one of the best E46s in terms of performance modifications. You can get them pretty quick.

I have a 00 328i. It's stock and it's a great daily driver. I haven't done anything to it, so I'm also unsure of its potentials. I would also like to know.

I have the sport package with the 17's and it handles phenomenally. I've done a few autocrosses in this car, and it's solid.

Sounds like it could be a great deal. We have so many supporting venders here, I suggest you buy from them, they do keep this forum going after all. What would you like, then we can help you better. There is a lot you can do, but budget and what you expect from your car will dictate what direction you go with your moding.

Just browse through here, do some more searches, and look through the vender pages. I'm sure you will have hundreds of questions after that point, but at least you will have direction.

after thought:

make sure to run a carfax and take the car to an independant mechanic. The price is a little low (in general) so you may want to double check that something isn't wrong with it.
