I'm not sure if you guys heard about this, but it's possible to change languages on obc in E34. It has US english, UK english, italian, french, spanish, and german. Turn the ignition key to the first position and hold down the button under the tach for about 30sec.

...a long time ago. Heck, there's several diagrams floating around in message board archives...I've had the following diagram on my cardomain website since Oct/2003...and I've had the diagram since the late 90's. And obviously this diagram looks like it came from an earlier version of the TIS CD or an owners manual. :D
