Can anyone tell me how much power I'm getting from my stock (not HK) head unit and amplifier. Basically, how many watts/channel are going to my speakers after the amp in the trunk? thanks for the help!

well, since it is a 200 watt amp, and there are 10 speakers in your m3, you can guess that it is less than 20 watts or less per speaker (we do not know if the woofers get more than the tweeters).

ok thanks that definitely helps!:D that's not a lot of power though. if I get some new speakers with say 35 watts RMS, am I going to have enough power to make them sound good? I'm just wondering if maybe I need a new amp. thanks.
