No it has not been on a dyno. I wanted to, but the clutch was worn and as you know the dyno loads up the driveline pretty good. Its ready for a dyno run now!
You know you want to trade for my E30 :)

What is the gas mileage like? I get 21 driving like a granny in my 94 540i. I would be interested if it's higher, or even a little lower, for the added power.
Was the block ever replaced? If so, @ what mileage? Also how long have you owned it; and how many miles are on the charger?

Man... Too bad I'm in Cali... I'm looking hard for a 95 540/6 and even though I really want black/black... your ride looks sweet! :thumbup:

The car gets about 15 mpg around town and 20 on the highway. The OBC milage is inaccurate because of the new injector pulse timing. But it does have a 21 gallon tank.
The block is a good block. It is 6/95 production. It doesnt burn oil or have any other issues. Always ran on BMW synthetic. I have owned it since last June at 105,000. The original owner put the blower on at 74,000 miles. It was installed by Dinan in Mountain View, CA. They also performed some later service to the car.
I guess the horsepower to be around 375 crank. The acceleration is on par with what Car and Driver quoted. The speedo needle will extend far beyond the end of the gauge.
