Well, the best thing to do is to buy an invertor and hook it into switched ignition power. It woudln't be very difficult to run a wire to the ignition harness. I'm not sure what the color codes are in your car, but in my 2000 e46 the purple wire that runs up the steering column is switched.

You wont have to much difficulty finding an acc power wire....< but you still want to have the inverter hooked to a toggle....

I have my xbox on a toggle, so that when Im not using it, I shut the power inverter off.......
