View Full Version : Anyone tried Yokohama R-compounds in autox? ronzo 02-27-2005, 11:37 AM how do they compare to Kumhos? Ryan-N-Austin 02-27-2005, 01:22 PM I think you're talking about the A032 R and H? series? They have a specific compound for road racing and auto-x, the people i know who have used them both (both compounds), alwasys had a complaint about them. The R's would get greasy, and the Auto-X compound had numb steering.. bogdan 02-27-2005, 07:51 PM I have run them, the harder compound. They are very progressive tires... and have a long treadlife, sacrificing some grip. Aside from being noisy, I dont really have any complaints on them. Good tire for introduction to R-comps. I borrowed them from a friend, that borrowed them from another friend. I think they have three seasons on them, and could go another. :D jmott 02-27-2005, 08:08 PM how do they compare to Kumhos? not good even the victoracers work better as an autocross tire I'm not sure the yokos are much better than azenis even. |
