Hoorah. Panoz managed to claim first place in the LMP900 class at Sears Point. It was a good battle between 1st and 2nd through the entire race. A couple of mishaps by the audi cars handed the win to Panoz. If the race would have continued for much longer the #38 Audi would have reeled them in and pulled ahead. Johnny Herbert was driving like a man possed and surely would have caught and passed Magnussen. Even the #1 audi which suffered a crash, was repaired and back out on the track to finish the race. It was gaining ground in fast fashion but was down several laps due to the repair time.

Rain or shine I was there on turn 2. :D

Dude! i was at turn 7!!!... the bay bimmerz were there in the car show did you see or were you there to?... yeah man that was a bad ass race... the first couple of laps were tight cause it was raining... went home for like 45 min to change into warmer clothes cause it was freakin cold!... came back with a couple of laps b4 the end... awesome race!:clap:

I saw you guys with my binocs. After the race I drove down to join you guys. I did not do the lap around the track though. I was fully prepared for the weather. It was cold saturday too even though it was sunny. But it was fine for walking around the padock and watching the qualifying/practice.
