I need a good body shop in Tampa Bay. Any suggestions? I took it to Gene Perez last time, they do good work. However, they absolutely will not deal with Progressive Insurance. After getting Progressive's estimate, I can see why. :mad They want to bondo the parts to do the job on the cheap. I pay the tools more than than their estimate every frickin' six months.

:help

Mark Faultus in Drew Park. Shop looks ghetto but the guy can work magic with the paint gun.

Really? That's where Al @ Gene Perez suggested. That place scared the hell out of me. I imagined it taking three months to get my car in the shop then it taking a month to get done. I did see an ///M Roady at a mechanic's shop on the next block. It was that Sea-Foam color.

I may reconsider Mark Faultus since I've now had two suggestions of taking it there. Reeves said to drive my car in the bay if the work isn't done at Gene Perez, after about three different people at the MB dealership one of them suggested Gulfshore Collision as their second suggestion after Gene Perez. It is on Anderson, basically just head N from Gene Perez about three quarters of a mile.

Well like I said - looks ghetto, but he can work magic.

If its cosmetic I'd be at his place or Gene Perez - period.

Also, Reeves is mainly - stuck up think they own everyone else people - only a few of the guys there are down to earth. Go with Gene Perez or Mark Faultus or call Cars & Concepts and see who they recommend.

I may drop by Cars & Concepts when I go check out Faultus on Monday. Might as well see what they want for springs and crap while I'm at it.

C & C has some nice TCKline suspension setups in house. They'll be able to help you out no problem.

They had a TC Kline Kit with H&R sport springs and Koni's that someone had ordered for an M Roadster and changed their minds about. They asked if I was interested as soon as I stepped in the door, maybe they are spying on me. :stickoutt Actually, they are sending them back to TC Kline and would probably prefer to make a little money on them instead of losing money on shipping. I don't think I can swing it right now though.

They have an AA SC M Coupe with its nose sticking out of the shop right now. It's a wicked little beastie.

They also suggested Mark Faultus. I dropped by and talked to Mark. I think he's going to take care of me and make certain Progressive doesn't hose me. He's had dealings with Progressive in the past. Sounds like Mark is up to the challenge.
