Just a little while ago I got off work and my friend wanted to go for a ride in my car. So off we go. Im thinking hmm, there are a couple roads around hear that I would really like to drive since it has been a few days of straight rain, and I was itchin to have a little fun. So im headed down Fairview in Brentwood cause there is a sweeping right handed turn which is only a yield so I can hit it with some speed. So as im weaving in through traffic I notice a Nice green ZX750 turning in the same direction. So I start to slow from about 60 or so heal toe it into second and glide through the turn with ease. nice! So now in headed toward concord Ave and what do ya know im right behind the bike at the light. We make our turn and as soon as the car in front of him turns down another side street the fun begins. We are both speeding though not excessively. We are coming up on one of my favorite turns a sharp s turn then a series of much bigger sweeping turns. Into the s turn we go, top of second, shift! Third gear through the rest of the larger turns. Slide into the straight, shift into fourth! I see the bike ahead hit some gravel thatk go it was in the straight and not a turn or he would have cased for sure. We are around 100mph now and crusin throught the last of the turns toward the end of the run. I wanted to follow him up to the next light and give him a thumbs up or somethin but I opted not and made a u turn to hit it again from the other direction. I know that I didnt race the bike, but we were both racing through the turns and having fun. He would have killed me for sure if he wanted but it was fun non the less.
