There is a guy at work that is a Hoosier dealer. I am trying to put together a "group buy" for Hoosiers in two sizes: 245/40/17 and 275/35/18.

If we get enough people we can do significantly better than list.

I know we already have two people, me and Ken, who need the 18" size and so far one person who needs the 17" size.

If you're seriously interested, please PM me with how many you'll need and the date. These will be for pick up only, either at my place in columbia or at the dealer's place near York, PA area.

Can I fit 275/35/18 at all four corners? Does Ken believe we can? If so, I would be in as well if Pete wants to split the cost.

IIRC, yes, you can on an E46.

I run 275/35-18 on the street. I needed ET26 to keep them off the spring perches, though. (ET34 originally worked, but track time deformed the sidewall enough that it became an issue.)

So it won't work with ET35. CRAP ... too bad the 710's are not going to be in the size I can use. 245/45/18? WTF ... why not 245/40/18?

Pricing is going to be $248 / ea for 275/35/18 (tire rack is $267 plus shipping) and $204/ea for 245/40/17 (TR is $218 plus shipping). You would not have to pay shipping if you went through Mike.

Actually the 275/35/18 is $260 :) Still a great deal.

Rumor has it he will try to defend the HPDE title while running for an autox title as well. The distraction of running 2 series could be too much for him though. We'll just have to wait and see. Is he up to the challenge?
