Thanks!
Tn325I 02-10-2005, 03:48 PM I don't know the addres, but in Ellijay ask anyone where the Cajun Depot is and they will know...It's in one of the old railway bldgs right beside the tracks...
Barely a 1/4 mile from the square..
Just watch out where ya park cuz they still use the tracks...You'll know what I mean when you see it...

Bavarian_6shot 02-18-2005, 08:04 PM Hey guys, sounds like fun. I live up at Covenant/Lookout. Get to drive down the mountain every other day. I'm trying to find "Dragon's Tail" where is this? I'm relatively new to the area. (I'm no local) Scenic highway is great, I've gotten down the mountain in ~3 1/2 minutes. Don't go over 30 above rock city or they'll nab you for $120+. Blah blah, so where is dragon's tail? I've got my dad's Ford HarleyD F-150 in town for the weekend. Supercharged 450hp, its not mine. Makes great highway pulls with M3's. Maybe it'd be worth stopping by and talking. If this was next weekend I would be present with an e36M3, but so is life.
_Gabriel
Anyone want to buy a well-maintained Jetta? Lots of highway miles. Trying to get out of her before the summer. Have an e36 back home.
Bavarian_6shot 02-18-2005, 08:44 PM oh, tail of the dragon is in NC. well fook mi silly. I guess the flaming shall ensue. :confused
Tn325I 02-18-2005, 08:48 PM TemjinM3, yeah we do dragon runs a couple of times a year at least with the Choo Choo Bimmers Club...
How long are you going to be around ? The Dragon is up past Ocoee River and Murphy N. C. ....About a 2 hour drive from here if traffic isn't too bad...
There is a miata group that has been after the local Bimmer boys to run the Tail of the Dragon with them and they go almost once a month...We should get some of this group to go along with them once or twice...
All the info for tommorow is in this thread so you're welcome to join us if you like...
Steve
rs4pro3 02-18-2005, 10:30 PM The Knox CCA Group already has like 5-6 drives planned starting from march till November to hit the dragon.
Bavarian_6shot 02-20-2005, 01:52 AM Aaa, my dad stopped up for the weekend and we went looking for a vert for my mother. Test drove a load of 330's, M3s, S2000, Merc AMG. Busy day. My dad wants an e36 Mvert for her. Need to post a WTB for him. We were on the road with a S2000 less than 3 min from getting to the dealership. New record?
ToD sounds like fun. I'm going to have to join with ya. I'll stick around on the forums.
hatm3 02-20-2005, 03:51 PM Hey guys, sorry I couldn't meet up with you Saturday, I'm sure ya'll had a blast. I had a little fun on my way to Blue Ridge Friday afternoon. I was on Hwy 76 East I believe, and while I'm sure the turns were not as fun as what you guys got into, I was pretty pleased with the curves heading into the mountains. The car did great, and no smokies to be seen.
I'm definately going to do that trip again. Take care.

We are really lucky to live so close to the mtns....There is fun in almost any direction...I have been thru alot of the roads around and there are diff challenges to each...The Bimmers def can conquer all....
We will be out again soon, maybe we can join up then...
