True....but I wanna diagnose the specific problem(meaning pull the code). I don't wanna just start replacing things the could be fine. :shifty

Yeah if anything it's going to Edge. But the problem is I have work and school all week, and the only time I will have enough time to take it to Edge is on Friday. That's why I'm trying to see if anyone can help me right now in the San Jose area so I can get it checked out before my classes starts. I'm a little worried driving my car right now with that check engine light on, not knowing the problem.

sent you a PM, have tool but you're gonna need internet access to pull up what the codes mean.

http://www.blek.com/peake.php

Just in case we can't find it later.

I have to go to the Post Office on Tully so just let me know and I'll try to work my schedule around that.

If you want we can meet up at that new ballpark/library on Tully. I just saw that today. Wonder if it's open yet, as I did see a lot of cars parked outside.

That would allow us to read the code and run inside and look it up online.

Ok just did a search and they are open till 8pm so that would be a perfect place unless you had something else in mind.

Well it looks like it was a close call, Serge scanned my car with the Peake tool and it came up with no errors :alright So you know I'm happy :redspot He also reset my service lights. Thanks again Serge, you the man!! It's great how people here on Bimmerforums are so helpful.
I'll post a quick pic of his car and mine later. One thing that I liked about his car is how it's Boston Green and most of his mods were all ACS....very nice
