Biggest thing is probably the clutch. It's just not strong enough to handle the power of the m5.

Yeah, the clutch is the most underperforming part of the car. Vanos used to be an issue, but it has been resolved with a technical update at the dealer. M5 have no history of rad failures like 540's, or water pumps. CPS is common problem with 2000 models.

Still have my stock clutch with 36,000 miles.

Since I just got my GTech and will track the car, I might need to replace it soon :)

My only problem is the rear tires. They constantly wear out too fast. :devillook

I had to replace the factory Dunlops (softrubber) at 17,500 since they failed inspection. New Michelins on the M5 now
