I think I might have bought the wrong size tire for my rear wheels for my 99 m3.

I have 18x8.5 BBS rgr's and stock suspension.. I picked up a pair of yoko es100's sized 245/40/18. I'm pretty sure I should have got 35's, but overlooked it because of the great deal I got on the two tires.

Will these tires fit ok?

thanks

you should've gotten 35s in the rear but you can run 245s all around and put these 40s in the front. if that's the case i think you need to roll your fenders a bit (not too sure).

oh ya, i also read that the ES100's sidewalls are a little shorter than regular..

It really just depends on your wheels backspacing. I don't really know what works with what, but if you post your backspacing then I'm sure someone can help you out.
