well, my leather seats has a rather large rip on the drivers side, right where your butt goes. It was tere when I got the car. I sent it to a re-upholsterer, but he did a fairly poor job. Now the seam is falling apart again. It is currently held together with superglue and black Duct tape( not my idea, i swear :mad ) Im afraid to take the tape off for ruining it worse, and would rather not buy a whole new set of seats, but I dont know what to do. Any ideas?

You may be able to just replace the panels where the seams have ripped. BUT expect to pay $$$ to do it. Cheap and sleazy way would be to use seat covers.

cheap and sleazy eh? well that may be the way to go, since as a high school student, i dont exactly have limitless reserves to throw around. how much would I be looking at to get new seats, or maybe jsut one for the drivers side? I know it would be more, but maybe a good investment?
