Gday i checked out this 740i today, it was pretty decent all round, but there were some vibrations from the engine. I read about some test where u put it in Drive with the A/C on and drivers side door wide open and see how much the tip of the door vibrates, in this case it was moving up and down about a half centimeter.

Is this to much?

There was also water in the coolant box which i posted in another thread.

Okay... If you find water in oil or the other way round it's a problem with the cylinder head gasket, and therefore a 3-4k $ damage to the car if repaired correctly...
