Time to Bfest is getting too short as we all know it. Some of us are bitting at the chomp, others are bitting out fingernails hoping to have our projects done in time.

I don't keep secrets from you guys, because I usually need your tips and help on making them happen :)

Hopefully within the next 3 weeks I will have the engine mounted in the bay, and the rest will be taken care of before Bfest. I probably will end up putting the new LSD in before the trip as well, since in the next week or so I need to drop the tanks and take care of some breather hoses back there.

I'm still trying to find a good welder, though I think I have found a better option, if I bring the subframe to the guy, not the guy to the car. He's a big fan of classic cars and has a 70's Celica, and a few other 'Yota projects.

But after looking at www.bimmerboys.com again, I have realised a flaw in the hopeful thinking of this way of doing it. Nic had a pit to put the car over so he could figure all of the measurements out. I have my garage, which does not have such a handy feature. My front end also has damage to it, so the frame isn't quite right on jack stands as it would be on the wheels.

So, should I jack the car up, and hope for the best anyway? I think the body might sit better if I use different spots for the jack stands. The car was in a front ender, which usually knocks one of the jacks out of whack by a click. Or should I try and figure out another way to do it? Maybe with some rhino ramps? Hmm, that's not so bad of an idea if we can push the car up onto them.
