Hi. First post...usually on Club Lexus.

Thinking about an 04 M3 but it has standard seats. I really want the width/lumbar adjustment.

Can this be retrofitted? Are parts even available at the stealership?

Or would I be better off trying to find a used seat?

Cheers.

I dont think so, but I am not sure. There are bladders that inflate/deflate, so I would think you would have to get them installed, but i am not 100% positive.

I think it's a completly different seat. You would probably have to buy the whole thing and sell your old seats. Not worth it imo. Gonna cost you huge $$.

With enough money anything is possible. There are people who have retrofitted lumbar support into their seats on a 325/330.

If you really want the adj. seats it would certainly be more economical to just buy a car with them. They seem to be a popular enough option that it shouldn't be too hard to find.
