Can anybody tell me what to do about a squeak everytime I push the clutch pedal on my 86 635? I removed the panel and sprayed WD-40 everywhere I could see and the squeek persists. Am I missing something?

Am I missing something? dm635 01-27-2005, 09:48 PM where the top of the pedal is secured to the pedal bracket assy,there should be 2 plastic bushing/sleeves in the shaft where the pedal arm pivots.they can get dry.also there is a small return coil spring between the top of the pedal and the firewall.WD40 is not really a good lubricant,but would work long enough to silence it if soaked in the correct spot.there's also a securing bolt going to the clutch master cylinder.that's all off the top of my head.good luck. |
