My 01 4.4i came without the optional factory installed xenon lights. Who here has converted their lights over to hid? Can anyone suggest a good kit/manufacturer??? There are so many different options I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask before I buy something.

Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks

Nobody?

Well do I buy the factory hid headlight assy (-the ballasts and bulbs) and get an aftermarket kit to install? Or use my factory non-xenon headlamp housings

I also have a non-xenon 2001 4.4i and have connected with Dave at Custom angel eyes (http://www.customangeleyes.com). He said he can sell me a complete xenon kit with angel eyes and all the proper connections for under $1900.00.

Here is his response with pricing and I'm still debating about doing it......

........ Yes we can sell you a set of Xenon headlights with the Angel Eyes. To upgrade to xenon from halogen you will also need the bulbs and ballasts.

Xenon Bulbs:$75 set
Xenon Ballasts(ignitors):$250set

So add this to the price of the complete xenon headlight assemblies w/ the Angel Eyes, "All-Clear Package" and wireless switching($1525) and your total would be $1850.

Let me know if you have any questions.
