Its about 30 min.......
Not sure about the plant... search for the website and check there. It should have tour schedules, or a # to call.

You are staying about 25-30 min from the BMW plant, it's actually across the county line East in Spartanburg just off I-85. I have no idea about tours there, I've only driven past it a thousand times. Clemson is about 40 or so from where you are staying West into the next county. There are only two strip clubs I would go to Nepal's is a pretty nice one, but small. Platinum Plus is much larger, but sometimes the crowd gets a little rowdy. Stay away from any clubs named Godivas!!!! The dowtown area has some nice bars and restaraunts to visit on the weekends as well. As long as the weather is nice there will be plenty of people walking the streets from bar to bar. If you feel like having a little fun and driving your bimmer up to the mountains, about 25 minutes North is the start of the mountains, and some really nice turns, just take highway 25 North past Furman campus.

Dean,
I would hang with you, but I'm leaving for Detroit on Friday for the Auto Show.
You are maybe 20 minutes from the factory, just head up I-85 until you see it on the left. Also, after getting off the interstate, if you drive past the entrance, about 1 mile or so on the right is the BMW Performance Center. If they have a school going on, you can watch.
If you have never been to the factory/museum, definantly make it a priority.
Looks like they are open on Friday for tours. I had a tour last year and it was pretty eye opening.

Other forms of entertainment:
Do you golf? There are tons of course around, even a par 3 right off of I-385 that is a walking course.
I know you collect guns, but I'm not sure what the scene for that is.
I'll defer to 3-serieslover on the strip clubs. Haven't been able to convice my wife to let me go scout them out for you :D
Agree that if you want a nice drive, head out Hwy 25 to the mountains. Make for Ceasers head.
I've only lived here for a couple of years and don't really do the bar thing anymore, but if you have more questions, feel free to ask.

oh and I don't know if you like to drive fast, but I assume you do. So just to warn/let you know in Greenville County they won't pull you over for speeding unless you are going more than 15 mph over the limit. The only guys you have to look out for are Highway patrol. How do I know this? I used to be a Greenville County Deputy and I rode along with traffic guys a bunch. So you are safe with the blue cars as long as you keep it within reason, but stay clear of the grey cars.
