Okay,

After looking through the parts catalog, I think I have priced out all the necessary parts needed for the swap and sadly it's more expensive than I had hoped for, assuming of course, one planned on paying retail...

I had originally thought I would only need a new anchoring bracket, which for the pair priced out to roughly 170, which isn't too bad at all. However, it looks like the caliper housing is different as well as they share different part numbers...so the pricing looks like this...

01 CALIPER HOUSING LEFT 1 34112282617 $245.00
01 CALIPER HOUSING RIGHT 1 34112282618 $245.00
02 BRAKE CARRIER 2 34112282619 $168.70

And then there's the cost of the rotors which is:

01 BRAKE DISC, VENTILATED, LEFT 345X28 1 34112282445 $314.30
01 BRAKE DISC, VENTILATED, RIGHT 345X28 1 34112282446 $314.30

Bringing the total cost of parts to a grand total of $1287.30

I am by no means a mechanic and learn as I go along. So are these the actual pieces necessary to do the swap? I had planned on swapping, but after looking at these prices am just thinking about doing a full out front bbk now...

That looks right ..... it's just not worth it IMO. If you want it for the track, the OEM stuff is good enough with a few mods. If it's for bling, there's nothing compared to a BBK.

I've tracked plenty on the OEM, it works fine. I only swapped out the lines, fluid, and pads and they feel great. Was thinking about going a little bigger and this looked like a good route because i had originally thought just a new anchoring bracket would be the only piece necessary, but I was wrong and now it's stupid.

Yeah, for that $$ you can just do a BBK.

Nice work getting all the part #'s though. I'm sure someone on the board will do it.
