I have searched for 2 days and cannot find an answer to this. I have a 01 x5 3.0 e83 and the climate control display just turned off a few days ago. I took it out opened it up cleaned it and even cleand all the springs for the terminals and still no power. it is blowing hot air because it has no control and it stays blasting . has anyone had this problem and know a solution.

what i have done so far:
I have checked Fuses (in the rear boot)
cleaned all terminals and connections
pressed every button on the unit
and burned from so much heat
please :help

and should i remove the battery terminals maybe it will reset the whole car would that help.
