I'll be there in Feb if you guys get together then. I might also stop by if you guys get together sooner, I'll just have to drive my Wrangler in that case :(

Oh, and it's Andy by the way...

I'm in Ada... Would you meet us in OKC? Maybe we could get an Oklahoma club together and alternate the meet locations...

Really a long story... I just bought the car back in November from the person I sold it to about 4 years ago. It was only driven 30,000 miles while he had it, although it wasn't cared for as I would have liked. I had to redo the dye on the leather. I took advantage of the seats being out to do some other work on the interior. Basically I'm just trying to clean it out really good and make it like new. I'm pretty much done, I just have to put everything back together.

Also, I am doing other work. Although my new ZKWs with HID are put in, I haven't aimed them yet. I also don't have the front corners in since I'm getting the clears. I also need to get a couple non-major parts for the engine compartment, like a hose and a temp sensor for the heated washer fluid.

This weekend and next weekend I'll be going through and doing a bunch of maintenance work. I'll be changing the oil, and changing the transmission fluid, changing the differential fluid. I'll also be removing the CDV and flushing the brake lines.

In the near future I'll also replace the water pump (I think it's the original with the plastic impeller). I'll also probably change the plugs and the belt, and maybe I'll get a URI crank pulley.

So, that's that. This stuff just doesn't get done real fast since I work full time and since I'm working on remodeling the house.

I forgot to mention that I want to buff all of the swirl marks out. Damn automatic washes! Oh well. I doubt that will be done before we meet up :(

thats a good idea. i saw that you are getting the water pump and thermostat from understeer. chris at understeer is a pretty good guy. are you getting UDPs?

but anyways, once a month sounds good to me. ill pm some of the members i know from OK. there used to be an OK thread here like a year ago but it died out. ive met a few of the people and we keep saying we will meet up but we dont. this time we will for sure. the 240 meet is off of I-240 and walker in the Taco Cabana parking lot. we could meet there but there is some crazy construction. it could be better in Feb.

haha we have always been here, just not active on the regional forum. we usually use OK-Speed for regional shit.

I think I'm going to hold off on the UDPs for now. I'll probably get a short shifter from them for now instead. I really need to make a list of stuff I want to do, and then have someone put it in sequential order for me :D

haha hey i just got the SSK from understeer. that was the easiest install in the world. made a pretty big difference too. only tools needed were 2 flat head screw drivers. really good buy. do you have any mods now?

Not really, other than the ZKWs with 6000K HIDs. I'll be removing the CDV this weekend, does that count :stickoutt

I'll start modding it slowly. My funds for the most part go to remodeling the house. Damn, that stuff isn't cheap either.

Right now I just want to do some simple mods to help boost my confidence so that I can tackle more involved projects later on. I'd really like to do the M50 manifold, but that probably won't be until late summer.

I'm working on both... when I get tired of working on the house I can work in the bimmer :D

Next winter I hope to have the garage completely finished (drywalled, insulated, added work area) complete with heat. I was under the car a little earlier this evening and it was a bit cold.

Anyway, you can't sell your car... we're just about to start the OKC bimmer club :shifty
