I've written a few e-mails to UUC regarding my TSE exhaust status for me 330Ci, but i haven't got any responses from them. When I call them for the first time to purchase the exhaust, they said they are backordered till late April. To be exact, today's date is May 2nd, no e-mail response from UUC except the auto replies, no calls regarding the exhaust status, all i could do its check my status on ordering page. SO, can you guys simply fill me in on what's going on with the exhaust? because i've been waiting for quite a while and still empty..

Have you tried to call UUC? I believe that they even have a toll free number, so you can call them on their dime. I know that Rob, Matt, and the rest of the UUC gang are working hard at getting existing product built and shipped, while at the same time developing new product. Sometimes there are snags in the prototyping phase or in the initial production run. Give them a call, I'm sure they'll let you know the status.

UUC has great customer service... try giving them a call. The whole email thing doesn't always work... damn computer, I keep telling people this whole technology thing is just a gimmick.
All laughing aside... call 'em up. Rob or Matt should take care of you asap.

i have sent uuc 2 emails as well, and have gotten nothing back.. i ordered a short shifter and clutch stop from them and payed extra for the 2 day delevory and didnt get them until 6 days later.. and now im waiting on 2 weeks on a shift knob... but i love the products i have gotten from them.. i guess it just takes me awhile to get them

My experience with UUC has been either hit or miss.
My first two orders, one for clutch stop V.2.0, another for clutch bushings came to my door within a matter of days (and this was with UPS ground).
However, I'm still waiting on my most recent order for TMEs. I ordered them in mid-April and they still havnt arrived. I called UUC and they said the tranny mounts were backordered pending a re-design (for the tabs) and a color change (beats me, they're invisible under the car). An e-mail notification or some info on the website concerning the re-design would be nice but I'm not too worried (I havnt been billed yet haha).
Oh yeah I am very happy with the products I have received so far from UUC.
Just my experience.

First of all, please accept our apologies for any inconvenience that delays in getting some products may have caused.
This time of year, as everyone is prepping their cars for track season, we can run into temporary backorder situations (gee, you'd think we would learn already and be prepared for the volume...).
TSEs for 328/323 are now shipping out, and it won't be too much longer before the 330/325 versions are ready. The demand for this exhaust system has been so great that we are scrambling to keep up. We are increasing our manufacturing resources dramatically, and expect to eliminate all exhaust backorder situations permanently in the near future.
As far as the TMEs go, we should start shipping them this Friday (5/10/02).
At UUC, we believe in our products and we want you to be happy with them. To that end, we will do everything in our power. Sometimes it is a two-way street and a forum like this is a great way for us to hear from you... but if you have a specific concern about your order, <i>please</i> contact us directly.
Contacting UUC is not too hard - usually e-mail is fine, but with the volume we receive it is not uncommon for some to get lost - we never ignore anyone deliberately! We are in the office 9am-7pm (Eastern), Monday-Friday. A quick phone call is always the best way to get updated on order progress, and sometimes we even get chatty about new products coming out! :)
